Mr. Fader has performed hundreds of concerts in the U.S., Europe and Asia with a wide range of classical and new music groups, including the Met Chamber Ensemble (directed by James Levine), Orpheus Chamber Orchestra, New York City Opera, New York City Ballet, Mark Morris Dance Group, New World Symphony, Absolute Ensemble, Cygnus, Fireworks, Poetica Musica, Glass Farm, Da Capo Chamber Players and Speculum Musicae. A champion of new music, he has premiered over 150 solo and chamber works with classical and electric guitar, including compositions by John Yannelli (recent premiere of his electric guitar concerto), Babbitt, Wuorinen, Machover, Biscardi, Lang, Currier, and many others. Recent performances include two Carter Pieces at the Tanglewood Festival, and a tour with Poetica Musica, performing in Turkey (Istanbul Festival), Azerbaijan, and Tajikistan.
